Impact Exhibitions & Events were State Finalists for Excellence in Business Ethics at the 2013 Business Awards!
NSW Health have advised that we are just too BIG to run this October in the current Covid Climate – as arguably the largest street festival in Australasia with up to 200,000 attending on the one day there is no-way we could guarantee or enforce the physical distancing rules of 1.5m between people and the rule of 1 person per 4-square metres
We are devasted as this event has grown in every way year on year to be what visitors, sponsors and stallholders say is the best street festival in the country
We will definitely be back as usual in 2021 on Sunday 31st October
(Festa is always held on the last Sunday in October)
However, before then we are looking at options of dates for alternate events including; maybe a series of smaller more controllable events, a Festa in a new format with maybe a virtual component and finally if by chance a corona anti-dote or cure is found soon maybe a rescheduling of the 2020 Festa to a new date in maybe March 2021!
That’s right, potentially 2 Festas in the 1 calendar year, each with a different angle…..
